PCCM's industrial outreach focuses on collaborations in magnetic, semiconductor, and quantum materials, leveraging PRISM's resources to enhance partnerships and develop innovative technologies across various membership tiers.

The LRSM fosters collaborations with industry, national labs, and academia, facilitating research partnerships, sample exchanges, joint publications, and the development of sponsored agreements, patents, and startups.

UCSD’s MRSEC REU program offers summer research opportunities in materials science, emphasizing predictive assemblies and engineered living materials through interdisciplinary projects across five UCSD departments.
